Local community to benefit from merger
Albury-based Internet Service Provider
Albury Local Internet, and Merimbula-based
Asitis Internet have merged, providing benefits of new plans and wider access to subscribers to both services.
"Both companies have worked together for years, this merger made sense" says ALI director, Ross Wheeler.
"Subscribers will have more POPs to dial in to and a significantly larger service coverage area, customer support is being enhanced through additional staff and better tracking systems and billing is being streamlined"
Stuart Forbes, director of Asitis said "The merger allows us to take the best features and innovations from both operations and offer them to all our subscribers".
The combined operation adds Merimbula, Bega, Cooma, Batemans Bay and surrounding areas to the area already covered by ALI.
