It was a dark, cold (but dry) evening as the pack assembled in the Car Park, waiting for Kunoath to show up and interrupt the vigorous conversation to, at the appropriate time, tell the pack that trail started at the "Old Peoples place". So the pack moved the 10 metres or so to the Senior Citizens Clubrooms where they found a "Check". AI went one way and Bobcat went another, with both soon returning when they found no trail. This resulted in more of the pack going to check in more directions, but they also returned, empty handed. At this time, Kunoath asked A.I. where she had looked, so Tone-Up took the hint and went and re-checked the direction first checked by A.I., and, lo and behold, she found trail heading across Havelock St then east along Lawrence St, into Ethel Lane and Ethel St.. Bobcat called the pack off made surface, crossing first open field, then Railway track, more open field then a wire fence. Well most of the pack crossed the wire fence, but Gunna and Bandit found a gap in the wire but still went through the motions as though climbing over a barbed wire fence.
Trail then led around Hempel St to a Two Way at the junction with Reid St. Bobcat went right and Sam went left and, with Bobcat soon returning, the pack followed Sam right into Queen St and then Mint St.. But, when the front runners were also returning from the eastern end of Mint St, the pack were thrown into confusion as the two ways from the Two Way had both petered out. Eventually, Kunoath was found standing under a street light at the junction of Wigg St and Reid St, with the pack having no idea how trail was supposed to get the pack there.
When the pack had re-assembled, trail was found to continue south on Wigg St., across Lawrence St. and into Prague St, with the front runners being met be the tail-enders as trail led up one side of the street then back down the other, before heading along Warsaw Cres. A Two Way at the intersection with Toledo Crt. Caused but a short delay, as, whilst checking, Bandit found another Two Way at the Warsaw Cres./Wigg St. intersection. As trail led down Thomas Mitchell Drive, thoughts turned to Nosh and drinks, but Kunoath was not done with us yet, so that, as the pack crossed Anne St, trail was found to lead across the school crossing and back up the other side of Thomas Mitchell Drive before turning down Brockley St.. When the trail reached Beechworth Rd., most of the pack had had enough and headed "On Home", but Bandit, alone, followed trail a short distance down Beechworth Rd, across the pedestrian crossing and back up the other side and "On Home".
Nosh was Bar-B-Que snags and A.I. was going to award a "down down", but Kunoath reminded her she was no longed G.M.
