Cambarville 2
The Cora Lynn Falls The track to the Cora Lynn Falls commences on the southern side of the Woods Point Road, opposite the off road car park and toilets. The track is well signposted. Walking down the track about 150 metres you will come to a T intersection. Turn right. About 150 metres from the T intersection are these delightful and picturesque falls. Follow the wooden signposts.
You will walk along this beautiful forrest path, and come to this fenced off section near the falls. Follow this path and you will see one of the prettiest falls in Victoria.
Retrace your steps to the T intersection, and head towards Camarville and the Cumberland Falls. Cumberland Falls The Cumberland Falls are near thew bottom of an extremely steep valley, virtually impossible to get to. However Parks Victoria have made an observation platform very near the Bridge over the Cumberland Creek. When walking along the track, you will hear the loud noise of the rushing, cascading waterfall from some distance away.
Above left you can see a photo of the Cumberland Falls at the bottom of the valley. The photo was taken from the observation point. The observation point can be easily missed if coming from Cora Lynn Falls direction. If you have got to the Bridge over the Cumberland Creek, you have passed it. Head back towards Cora Lynn Falls and you go up some steps carefully made to go through a huge fallen tree, photo above right. Keep going straight and you will find the observation deck.
