Above is a sample of this magnificent range of Diecast Model Cars, size 1 : 18. On the top or back row there are a 1920 Cleveland Roadster, a 1949 Ford, and a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. In the middle is a 1925 Model T Runabout and a 1950 Chevrolet Bel Air. The three on the bottom row are, a 1936 Pontiac Delux, a 1955 Buick Century and a 1965 Pontiac GTO.
The range of diecast model cars includes the sizes once commonly known as Matchbox Cars, ( small, approximately 2" or 4 to 5 cm ), the next size being the Dinky and Corgy Toy Car sizes, ( approximately 5 to 6", or 12 to 14 cm ), and the major range is the 1 : 18 scale models being about 9 to 12", or 20 to 30 cm. At Cossor's Diecast Collectables there is a huge range of all three sizes, with the most extensive range being the 1 : 18 scale models. There are hundreds of scale models on display, ( see a photo of one of the scale model car rooms next page ), with the range of cars dating from 1920's to the modern day. Please note that in most cases there is only one model in stock, so that some that may be shown on this site may have already been sold.
These diecast model cars are made by many firms, but the best known are the Biante, Trax and Classic Carlectables.

This close up shows the intricate workmanship and detail of these models. Note the detail in the grill and headlights, the engine, the opening doors, and the interior seating and trim. You cannot see the dashboard but it is detailed as well, as too the steering wheel, clutch and brake pedals. In most models the steering wheel turns the front wheels.
Above you can see the 1947 M G T C Midget. The bonnet lifts up showing the engine, and as you can see, the dashboard is very detailed.
