Beechworth's beautiful Lakeside Chalet, located on the banks of Lake Sambell, is a Chalet which allows you to wake up to the ducks quacking and your heart singing.

The view over Lake Sambell is superb, as you can see above. The photo on the left is from the verandah outside the downstairs lounge room, and the photo on the right is from the upstairs lounge room. This modern home is fully self contained, and has reverse cycle air conditioning, microwaves, dishwasher, colour televisions and VCRs.

The downstairs lounge is very spacious, as the photo above left shows, and you can see the lake through the windows, whilst the kitchen and dining area above right can feed a single person or a whole family. The house has top quality linen, crockery, utensils and leather recliner lounges.

There are four bedrooms, the photo above left is the queen sized bed, and above right the twin bedroom.

Upstairs there is a huge lounge room, photo right, with a kitchenette with bar stools on the left. Comfortable leather recliners help you relax whether you are watching the television or taking in the relaxing view.

The above photo is the upstairs queen sized bed, and also upstairs is a twin bedroom.
The house is only a 5 minute walk to the town centre, tennis courts, restaurants, craft shops, galleries, historic gold buildings and the gaol.
The Beechworth to Everton Bicycle Rail Trail commences only metres away from Lakeside Chalet, so bring your bicycles along with you for hours of fun pedaling through forests.
Location
From the Beechworth Post Office, head east along Camp St., turn left into High Street, Right into Billson St., veer right into Jardine St., and turn left into Kraus Lane.

For Bookings or Inquiries
Guests can either book from one up to four bedrooms, full house. The house has two levels, they can be booked separately or together. Each level has a bathroom, lounge room, kitchen and two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with twin singles. The house can comfortably accommodate eight people.
Please note, we require a booking for two nights on weekends, and for three nights on public holidays. Ask about our discounts for long time stays or for stays during the week.
