The Rose Cottage built in 1876, is a romantic Bed and Breakfast that offers the opportunity to experience the rich atmosphere of the Victorian era. The rooms exude a mellow glow reflected in the elegant clutter of comfortable, lovingly restored furniture and the homeliness of bric-a-brac. Retreat to this intimate environment and experience the charm of the last century. The Rose Cottage is small and intimate, specialising in sumptuous breakfasts and comfortable beds, each room crammed full of interesting bits and pieces. Four rooms, each decorated with the Romantic in mind - brass and iron beds ( with modern mattresses and bases ), antique and just old, interesting furniture nestled amidst a charming garden. All rooms are serviced daily and include ensuite, one full bathroom with spa, colour television, ducted heating, tea/ coffee making facilities, continental doonas, woollen underlays and electric blankets, fully ducted reverse cycle air conditioning. The Rose Cottage features a guest sitting room with wood burning heater and an elegant breakfast room looking out on to the back garden. The lovely old trees include a Ginko, Port Wine Magnolia, and others. The Rose Cottage is centrally located, just one block from the main town centre. Park your car and walk to your choice of eating houses, in fact no need to get into your car again until you leave. Tariff $135.00 per double per night, and $95 per single. $145.00 for the spa room. Includes GST and fully cooked breakfast Please note 2 nights minimum stay on weekends 3 nights minimum stay on long weekends
