Commencing on entering Yackandandah from Wodonga, drive down Isaacs Ave, past the park on your right, over the Historic Stone Bridge, and continue up the main street, High Street, passing through the historical parade of tree lined shops full of history, continue past the school on your right, and turn left into Bells Flat Road at the top of the hill.

Continue down this road until it turns to gravel, continuing on for approximately 700 metres until you come to a recessed car park on your left. This is known as the crossing place and the gorge, and is only about 2 minutes walk down the path. Well worth a look.

Back in the car, turn around and retrace your way back the gravel road, and soon after it turns into a bitumen road, veer right into Windham Street. The sporting grounds will be below you on your right. Follow Windham Street to the end, where you turn left into Williams St.

Follow Williams St over High St and past the Historic Court House on your right and the park and swimming pool on your left. The mineral springs are off Hammond St in Mineral Lane.

Commencing at the Post Office, drive east downhill towards the Stone Bridge, and continue along the Wodonga Road until you see the sign for Allans Flat turnoff. Turn right, crossing a small creek and then passing the Allans Flat Reserve or Lake on your left. This lake was the result of dredge mining for gold in the 1850's.

Next on your left is the Strawberry Winery. Passing this and veering left into Gap Flat Road, continue until you come to a Memorial for Hume & Hovell on your right. At this corner turn right and follow Memorial Drive back to Osbourns Flat Road.

On reaching Osbourn's Flat Road, the Vienna Patissery, an excellent cake and coffee shop is to your right, but a left turn will have you headed towards Osbourne and Rowdy Flats. Turn right at the T intersection back to Yackandandah along C527 better known as the Yackandandah / Myrtleford Road.
