" This picture depicts 4 echidnas hunting ant after the rain has ended." Eddy Harris
Above a close up of the painting shows the intricate detail of the traditional aboriginal art, with thousands of dots making up the picture. The picture depicts four echidnas hunting for ants after the rain has ended. The three circles in the middle are the traditional aboriginal representation of waterholes. In this painting it represents small puddles. Near the two outside puddles are tracks left by birds after they have had a drink. The two white arrows are the traditional symbol for bird tracks. The greens and blues depict the various bushes that grow in this area. At the central waterhole you can see two ants hiding under the damp ground.
